Hey! I'm Kelsey!

I'm an introvert and overall indoors-y person who married my exact opposite. We're making our happy life in The Rockstar Ranch.

My husband is Eric - we met in college. I was literally the girl next door. We've been married for 12 years and have two adorable kids: Rooney (10) & Finch (7).

"Snappy Casual" is the closest I can come to describing my style (outfits & home decor). It's mostly casual...with a bit of something unexpected thrown in.

Work

I work part-time as an editor for our church and spend Wednesdays at home with my kids. I love being able to split my time between work and family - it is a huge blessing!

We live in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. The winters get long, but it’s a really great place to raise a family. In the summer, we love vacationing in Okoboji, checking out our local farmers' market and riding bikes to our favorite ice cream shops.

I started blogging in 2009 to share my daily outfits, but as our family has grown, so has the range of topics. Now I write mostly about our family adventures and home decor. It’s essentially a diary for my kids to read some day when they’re older.
