summer bucket list 2022

’Tis the season of popsicles and pool days! Our kids are out of school and are enjoying their time with their nanny (and me on Wednesdays). The next four months are my absolute favorite. I am so excited for consistently warmer weather here in Iowa. Each summer with the kids has gotten more and more fun. This year they are 10 & 7, which means we only have nine summers left with Rooney at home. I want to make the most of them!

  10. Overnight camp for the kids

  11. Take the kids to the largest public skatepark in the nation, Lauridsen Skatepark

  12. Take underwater photos of the kids

  13. Sugar Freakshow

  14. Get a killer tan

  15. Crumbl Cookies

  16. National Hot Air Balloon Festival

  17. Tube down a river

  18. Fruit picking (strawberries, peaches, apples, raspberries, blueberries)

  19. Summer vacation in Okoboji

  20. Visit the sunflower field

  21. Tour the Iowa State Capital

  22. Downtown Farmers’ Market
