an ode to a jean jacket
Someone asked me the other day which one Madewell piece I would recommend over everything else in my closet. I shop there almost exclusively now so I thought it might be hard to choose, but I thought about it for about 15 seconds before deciding it is definitely this denim jacket. This was actually my "push gift" from Eric after Rooney was born, and I wear it multiple times a week. The wash and fit are just right, and it's such a classic piece that I'm not sure I will ever get rid of it. It's oddly comforting to think that in 20 years, this trusty guy will still be keeping me warm.
