It's mid-November ... time to order Christmas cards! We had our annual fall family photos taken a few weeks ago, and there were so many great ones that we had a hard time choosing which one to use for our card this year. They were taken downtown Des Moines for an urban feel. I wanted to show you a few of the runners-up, because I really love them all! (Psst - there's a giveaway at the bottom of this post!)

P.S. Would you guess that Rooney cried for 20 minutes right before these were taken? She wasn't loving her outfit. I bribed her with donuts and gummy worms, and she forgot all about it. :-) I wish my skin recovered that quickly!

I just love that little family of mine. We have used Minted for our Christmas cards for almost 10 years now, so it was a dream come true when they reached out this year to see if we wanted to team up. This year we went a slightly more simple route and used a foil-pressed card, and added a "year in review" section on the back side. They are due to arrive tomorrow and I can't wait to see them in person. After we get them sent out, I'll be sure to show you the finished product!
