For months I have been so excited to celebrate the birth of our Savior and Finch's first Christmas. And then this week came and both kids (and Eric) got sick...Finch has a double ear infection and Rooney got a fever - both combined with colds, coughs and wheezing! So it hasn't gone exactly how I'd planned it and we missed Christmas Eve church because we didn't want to infect anyone else, and I was pretty bummed. Our family hasn't been this sick for probably 18 months. But then Rooney's fever broke and snow started falling from the sky and we were able to travel today to see family for the next four days. I'm so thankful for that and it has been such a joy to watch Rooney open her first gifts. Wishing you a very merry Christmas! We are praying hard this year for health and heavenly peace! xoxo
